We meet local people who will receive us with elaborate traditional customs into their homes and perform their folk songs and dances for us. Above all, we enter the most primeval stretch of nature reserve home to several species of wild cats and a multitude of birds. At no other place can one get as close to nature as we will during this trek where the sub-tropics meet the temperate zone of Bhutan.
